Need Help with Ipod install

I've installed aux-box with the GM9 harness. The ipod charges but does not play. Car is a 2004 coupe with no changer.
Please help

What little switches? i'm not really familar with the ipod connector install process... just looking to learn

There are a row of DIP switches on the box that can be used to configure the Interface settings to match your stereo. I am sure those are what he was talking about.
