CD Changer connectors
Hi,
I've been trying to install an aftermarket mp3 player into my 1997 C5. It didn't come stock with a cd changer so I bought the COR HAR and aux adapter. I'm having the hardest time finding the connectors in the footwell by the fuse box to connect the COR HAR to though. One, the four pin, was easy to find. The other one though I have just spent a 45 minutes looking for with no luck. Did 1997 vettes come with this second connector? If not, am I missing something? Thanks in advance, any help would be appreciated I'm pulling my hair out trying to figure this out!

my '98 did not have the three wire plug either, you will need to hardwire it into the fuse panel.
as far as I can tell, '97 and '98 C5's that didn't come from the factory with the CD Changer do not have the 3 wire plug.
there is a tech tip on this install.

One your first pic 1/2 is there. The other piece will be tucked up under the black plastic to the right. They are not attached, they are 2 seperate plugs

there is only one plug, the 4 wire plug. and it will be under the fuse panel.
