AVIC-D2 Low Level Hiss
I just had an AVIC-D2 installed in my 2005 C6. I kept the 1SA amp and speakers as they used a Peripheral GMCO harness. However, I am hearing a low hiss from all the speakers although it is most pronounced in the center. Setting the volume to "0" makes it very clear. I turned off all sources from the AVIC as well, but the hiss continues.
Anyone have this issue or know how I can fix it (without changing amps, etc.)?

i am having this same problem... only in the drivers side front speaker... doesn't get louder w/ engine rev it's just there and very ANNOYING.

I have it with my AVIC N2. I have it on a separate switch so I can play it with the engine off.
My install is a complete overhaul - zero stock wires were used (all Monster Cable), chassis grounded, blah, blah, blah.
Hiss is still there.
