so i built the box but.
so i built the box and was wondering if I wanted to seal it up should I put some fiberglass on the inside or could I put it on the outside? I put some silicone on the inside but some of my cuts where not 100% straight. I had one big gap but filled it with silicone.

I heard a box that an installer built where after the construction was done he used fiberglass resin on the inside to completely seal it. It sounded great and only an 8" i didnt believe him, thought it was a 10". he proved me wrong.
just get some fiberglass resin, mix the two parts and pour it in the box, move the box around to coat the inside. you may need multiple applications to cover all of the corners but it should work well.
