I ran 2 10" polks at 400 wt and a set of 6" polks at 200wt as front speakers in my 88 and I never broke my hatch, but then again Polks are kind of mello. I now run 8" Fosgate dvc's at 360 wt. Still no problems, but you wont know til it happens.

In my first vette I had 2 JL 15W6's and a Soundstream reference 500 running them. That car would cause the corner sides of the hatch to flex under high pressure but no breakeage. I have only seen on vehicle break glass at a competition and they had waayyyy more power than we will ever have, so I don't think any of us are in danger of breaking glass.

Running 600w rms, through two 12's no problems, I think you'll be safe.
