I know this was probably covered before, but here is my question. I have a 93 coupe with the stock Delco AM/FM cassette. Will a Bose system drop into the car. Do the Bose speakers and head unit just plug into the wiring harness or are there extra wires which must be run. I know from the posts that people are not fond of the Bose system, but I want to keep a stock look to the car and get a little better sound than the stock unit.
You could keep the stock deck and with an adaptor wire in an amp and some new speakers and probably be far happier with the system and still retain the "stock" look. Or upgrade to the bose headunit and do the same.
Just depends upon how much you want to spend. For less money generally speaking you can put together a far better sounding system from the aftermarket than it would cost you to buy the stock drop in "bose" level system.
