Default Ordered all the stuff for my Audio upgrade

Hopefully I made some good choices. Here is what I am getting:

Kenwood XXV-01D 25th Anniversary Deck
Polk Audio MMC6500 6-1/2" Component Set
JL Audio 10W7 sub
SubThump 10W7 Box
JL Audio 500/1 Amp
JL Audio 300/2 Amp

Using Streetwires cables for the system. 4Ga. power and ground. Zero Noise 3 for Deck to Amps

I am hoping this system will sound pretty good. Went without rear speakers on the advice of experts so I will be interested to see how that goes.

Thanks to all of you for your help. Look for me posting for more help in a week and a half or so when I start the install.

I like your choices...I'm in the process of making my mind up on some choices. Why did you choose the JL 10"? I'm looking at it as well..some say go with a 12"

Good Luck

Going with SubThump boxes, I was limited in selection of 12" subs due to the depth of the sub. In addition to that, all the reviews and everything online went on and on about the W7 series subs and it looked like a 12W7 would be overkill. There is also a forum member here that has one and likes the setup.

Good luck with the install and I don't think you will miss the rears in the least. Be sure to post a few picks when you are done.

Aye good list there you should be happy

My only suggestion is to spend some time messing around with your tweeter placement (IE behind stock grills, door pulls, A pillars) to see which you like best. With only a 2 way set up generally you don't want your tweeter a long ways away from the mid however.
