Anybody managed to find an amp that will fit in the little storage space on the passenger side of the trunk? I am planning on installing a Stealthbox, so the left side is out. I would rather not put the amp in plain sight and I can't sacrifice the leg room by placing it behind the passenger seat. If you have done this please mention the amp that was used.
You might do a search on Zapco amps, Modesto CA. They are a small business that builds some pretty kicka-- amps. I had one in my 78 pass side cubby that powered 2-8" subs a pair of 6" coaxials and a pair of 3 1/4 in the kick panel. It performed flawless.

I have been looking and Alpine just came out with a new line of amps called PDX amps and they will fit, I am waiting for a forum member to price them for me and you could actually fit a couple in the cubby
I just found those too. Pass the price along to me if you don't mind.
Thanks!
There are lots of options if you are running 2 ohms. The Stealthbox is a dual 2 ohm VC, so you get either 4 or 1 ohms. Most Class D amps, the only ones small and powerful enough, are optimized for 2 ohm loads...
