I presume that you are talking about an '05 and '06 C6 so, assuming that your '05 is equipped as a 1SB car it should be okay. Of course, getting the antenna leads from the mirrors through the doors and then to the XM module behind the driver's seat could be a bear.
It might be easier to install the XM module and buy a replacement XM antenna from Best Buy/Circuit City and install it under the top of the rear window on the halo. Then all you would need to do is to run the antenna lead down the halo to the module to connect it. The antenna module is about 1.25" square and about 3/8" thick so no problem hiding it anywhere. Some people put them under the rear facia so that it is totally hidden.
well,I currently have an aftermarket xm system in there and the antenna is on the bottom pass.side(outside)of the windshield.MY problem is the damn radio interference..a thumping sound that annoys the hell out of me to the point where I want to throw the radio out the window!!So,I figured if I can get a stock radio and antenna's in there,it would be better...and yes,I HAVE AN 05-C6.
