I have an audiovox paging alarm. Works well. I know audiovox is crap in car audio stuff, but pretty good product for alarms. Basically 1 of 3 companies manufactures 99% of all alarms made anyway.

How had is it to install? ive installed car audio and do all my mods so im pretty good at it.. I can get the alarm for 200 buxs online. I went to a place to see about getting it installed and they want 300 to install it.. seems alittle high IMO but is that the going rate?

I have the Viper on all three of my cars and trucks. Haven't had any problems with them yet. The problem I do have though is that the window valet won't work with after market alarms
. That was the only down side to the alarm.

so does everyone get them installed?

find someone to install it..and warranty the work. Good luck
