Two Questions
2. I believe the low frequency signal on the C6 goes through the Bose amp. Can I take the signal coming out of the amp, send it to a second amp, then send the signal to new door woofers? It seems straightforward, but I have not seen many others attempt this? Is there some hidden problem with tyhis approach?
Thanks

2. If you are doing this much work it is better to bypass the Bose amp completely and run feeds from the HU to new amp(s) and speakers. - It will be worth the effort when you are done!
Thanks for answering my questions. I want to upgrade the C6 system, but do not need,or desire, high volume. Just want a cleaner sound. I have decided to just replace the four speakers for now to see if I will be satified with the improvement. If not, I will have an installer duplicate what you have done. I was just curiuos if an intermediate step (Bose low frequency amp output to a second small amp to door woofers) has ever been tried or even possible.
Again, thanks for the reply. It has been very helpful.
