positive/negative
i have a 98 corvette with the facotry bose syetem, i was trying to switch them out for aftermarket and was wondering which is the positive and negative, there both black wires with one that has a red stripe and the other with a green stripe. and will it sound better if i solder them together?

i think you are missing some info here. are you talking about the headunit or the bose amps? what exactly do you want to accomplish? and did you read the faq?

sorry about that its the front speakers i want to use the old factory wires and connect them to the new aftermarket speakers but i cant figure out which color is which. the old wires is the ones i detached from the old speaker, im not sure if its the amp.
