Default c4 convertible sub
Can anyone post pics of a sub in a c4 vert. I have 2 6 inch JL's mounted in tubes flanking my amp. I want to do something different but am not sure what will work. Not a lot of room back there.

short of a custom enclosure, I think you are SOL...

I am in the middle of redoing my interior and stereo install. I put a pair of jl 8W3V2's in the factory rear enclosures using mdf as my mounting bases. I could send you pics if you need them. just pm me your email address.

I have Boston 2 ways in the rear enclosures. They sound good so I'll be keeping them. I was thinking of putting a 10 inch sub in place of the two 6inch ones that are in tubes and aimed at the seatbacks. I don't know if it is worth it though. The 6 inchers sound ok but don't really have the kick I want. Got a big amp back there as well. I'm just used to my cherokee that has two 10 inch JL's in a big box in the back. These 6 inchers are kind of weak in comparison. After riding around today i think that replacing the small speakers up front with larger ones will help more.

the 8Wv2 is a good choice for that space.

Just be sure to seal the bejebus out of it.

I had an 8" tube in my convertible that just came out last night to fit a bottle. One or even two fit perfectly in a vert.
