Also don't miss The Police "Spirits in the Material World" Bass you won't believe!
I am currently working on a CD for the car of songs I like. I have a DJ business and feel like I have an ear for songs. The list grows gadually, but it is a work in progress. I will list some of the songs, if any one is interested. So far it begins with "Low rider", "Hot for Teacher", "American Pie", "Dead or Alive", "Dirty Blvd." and others.

Hey, what can I say....I have a broad taste in music
Love Little Feet - Waiting for Columbus, but haven't played it on my new system yet.
Fleetwood Mac Rumors (The Chain rocks)
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magic
Beatles - Abbey Road always kicks ***, especially the end of it
ZZ Top - Deguello
Dire Straits is nice, the self titled album
Very incomplete list; I've got several hundred cd's, these are just the first few that come to mind
Crystal Method - Blood Rave
DJ Magic Mike - Feel The Bass <- for some booom.
Or any Bass Mechanic for some booom.
Rush - Tom Sawyer
Benny Benassi - Satisfaction
Thats mostly what I stick to. If a new song is out that I love, I usually will play that first with antisipation of what it will sound like on a new system.
That's the first song I played when I got my first custom stereo! It was a Kenwood 626 or something like that, with a Kenwood amp and a Kicker II in back. I don't even think we replaced the front speakers. It was in my hand-me-down 1981 280ZX; the year was probably 1984.
I left the shop, Sound Concepts in Mt Kisco, NY, blasting Moving Pictures on my tape deck. That stereo rocked, or at least it seemed to at the time!
Just about any track Off Dream Theater's "Images and Words" cd will show off your system. The music is incredible, the arrangment phenominal and the talent is out of this world. You have to check this out.
SRV Little Wing - great drum dynamics
Mannheim Steamroller Pat a Pan - mids
