If so, how do you like it? Which sub are you running in it? Of course my local shop wants me to go the JLAudio route saying how amazing they sound and nothing else will come close, but almost $600 is a bit steep in my opinion.

I have one for sale if you are interested. It is a brand new stealth box with a JBL 1002D sub. I would like to get $199.99 + whatever the shipping costs would be. BTW, I have compared one of my boxes to JL's boxes with the same exact sub (10w3), and if there was a difference, it was very minimal. The only difference is that one is fiberglass and the other is wood.

Here's the way it would look installed. This is with a JL 10w3

It's a little more brighter than the JL. Both sound great. It's just whatever you are looking for in sound. Other than that, that's about all I can tell. Definately a well built sub, to say the least, lol.
I'm using a JLAudio 10w3v2 with a 10" Subthump box. Works great for me and was a heck of a lot cheaper than buying the complete JLAudio stealth solution.

I build the C5 sub enclosures, and sell the flush ones for $210 shipped, and for the "stealth" box that sits below the factory cover, I sell them for $150 shipped, no matter how many subs you want in them. Carpet and speaker wire included... I sell them here.
Here is some pics of the last one I did a few days ago for a 2000 convertible that freakin' hammered!!
I have a JL stealthbox set up that i put in this weekend and it sounds great. I use my deck space daily so i was not willing to have a sub that could not be covered and still function properly.
But I must admit, I wouldn't pay the $600 for this set up, I got lucky and an installer had the box laying around his shop and I picked it up for $100, then I got a JL 10W3V2 new off of ebay for about 150.
I would build the sub box and if you're satisfied, keep it. If not, you're out $30 and can go the stealthbox route.
