Default Aftermarket door depth

I've read that you can pretty much put whatever you want in the doors as long as you make a bracket to fit. My question is some of these component systems have really large/deep magnets; like the Kenwood 25th Anniversarry XXV-04S. What is the deepest depth I can go in the doors?

Good question. Do we have a list for all the models? Kinda running tab from C1-C6? I am interested in the C4 part.

i guess we could have measured when we did my component install. Just have to make sure that whatever you stick in there wont interfere with the window going down

No way!
I checked this site and they said 78mm, which is just over 3"

http://www.justkenwood.co.uk/stock01/xxv04s.asp

I can't believe thats all they are. They look a lot deeper.

They will fit. I installed a set of JL6w0 subs in C5 doors. They had a top mount depth of 3.5". I used 3/4" MDF to space them out. Good luck.

You know, I never measured the depth, but I have pics though...

I sell the plates for $40 a pair shipped here if you need some...

Hope this helps!!
