Aftermarket door depth
I've read that you can pretty much put whatever you want in the doors as long as you make a bracket to fit. My question is some of these component systems have really large/deep magnets; like the Kenwood 25th Anniversarry XXV-04S. What is the deepest depth I can go in the doors?

Good question. Do we have a list for all the models? Kinda running tab from C1-C6? I am interested in the C4 part.

i guess we could have measured when we did my component install. Just have to make sure that whatever you stick in there wont interfere with the window going down

I checked this site and they said 78mm, which is just over 3"

I can't believe thats all they are. They look a lot deeper.

They will fit. I installed a set of JL6w0 subs in C5 doors. They had a top mount depth of 3.5". I used 3/4" MDF to space them out. Good luck.
