Radar jammers are illegal in all 50 states. Laser jammers are illegal in Minnesota, California and a couple of other states as well. Not that I don't like the idea, but it might not be worth the risk, check your state laws before you buy and decide whether or not the risk is worth it. There are also products out there that you can coat your liscence plate and headlights with that are supposed to significantly cut down the return signal from the laser, these are legal. There are a number of websites that review all these products, try a google for radar detectors etc.
Illegal in Oklahoma for sure. I have a friend who used that Veil stuff and was not convinced that it did anything. However, not so much laser around here anyway...

I've decided to sell mine (never used) on Ebay...(PM me if you're interested)
There was a test done on these and it was proven that they don't even work as advertised and on top of that since they transmit they are illegal per FCC. Another gimmick to watch out for is the SpecterGuard anti-photo laser plates. The company that sells all of this junk that doesn't work is TelstarOne. They operate out of a P.O. Box in Hermossasa Springs, Florida. In their website they don't stand behind their product lots of and disclaimers. So beware of this company.
They may have products out there like the one above that may work but I know for a FACT the SpecterGuard plates are a phony fake product to stay away from sold by TelstarOne.
"Jammers" as opposed to "Detectors" are illegal in most states & also may run you afoul of FCC regulations. Reason is that to be effective, a jammer must transmit an RF (or laser) signal, which then makes you an operator of a transmitter & thus subject to various FCC regulations related to licensing, use of frequencies, yada, yada. And most don't even operate as claimed in their advertising! Best to stick with a good detector.
Laser jammers are now illegal in Illinois. Mere possession in the car is an offense, and they take the unit as evidence. But it's only a $75 ticket and you are supposed to get the unit back later. Yeah, right.
