k40/calibre
Anybody have experience with the K40/Calibre radar detector laser defuser. I just purchased unit which comes with warranty that guarnates the unit to defuse all laser. If you get the ticket, they agree to pay(excepting DUI).
I promptly got my first speeding ticket in many years. I was caught by laser in a group of about 4-5 other cars.
Wondering if the unit works as advertised(& the cop shot someone else and tagged me) or if it's a piece of junk.

I was going approx 83mph in a 65mph toll zone. I was in a group of about 6 cars, when I pulled into the left lane to pass. As soon as I changed lanes, I saw the patrol car, my detector went off(once) and I immediately slowed down. The officer claim he had 3 readings on my vette (77, 81 & 85 mph) and was kind enough to write the ticket for the higher of the three.
I have requested the company to honor the warranty and pay for the ticket. Will let you know if/when they pay.
Anybody have any experience with this unit, does it actually diffuse and incapacitate laser, long enough for the driver to slow down, as per their claim?
