Hi Guys,
I am going to be Installing a box and sub thanks to you guys and totally forgot that i have a 12 pack CD Changer in my hatch, where can i move it to, one of the side compartments??
Yes I just moved mine the other day to the comartment on the right. Thats the side the wires come from. The only thing is you'll have to make new brackets to mount it from the top of the unit or it will be flipped and the door will open on the far side, because the mounts are on the bottom. This might not matter to you, but it would drive me nuts just having the lettering facing the wrong way as I'm looking at it. I made a set of templates, if your interested I can scan them and e mial them to you. I would post them for everybody but I dont have a site to host them.
Thanks for the info. That would be great if you could scan them. I'm putting a Sub in the rear and completely forgot about the CD Changer being in there.

Hope this helps!!
NOTE: to save and print the templates for your own use, just right click on the template image, save image to your hard drive, and then you can print it out on your computer.
"Hi Dave, Here's the templates I made up. Start the holes small to check
them against your changer. You know what I just thought,,, These need to
be bolted on before mounting. You could take these templates one step
farther. After you drill the mounting holes in the 1" flange mark them on
the templates. After you get the plates bolted to the changer, make a
template of the mounting holes. It will save others the pain in the --- I
went through. Wish I had thought of it earlier. You will need to take out
the two lower screws on the inner fender liner to gain access to where the
new bolts will go, unless you use screws. I used 3/16 bolt(3 per side)
with lock washers and an outside flange for strength and sandwitched the
fibreglass, which was proly overkill to the 10th. Anyway good luck, Adown"
