C4 Sub storage bin question
I recently built a box for the storage bin in my c4 to house an 8 but i made the box enclosed. I noticed some of you just layed the mdf over the top and used the existing bin for the enclosure itself, thus giving more airspace. The speaker does require more space that what i ended up with im sure.
For the people who use the bin for the enclosure, does it sound good?

I ran a set of Polk 10's in mine. Although I wish I had gone with diff. subs they sounded good in that location. The shape and size of the hole limit the flex action of the fiberglass as opposed to the C5 with its thin glass and long flat surface would flex too much to get away with out a box. Do it, I think you'll like it.
