'84 Corvette Bose Replacement
Did a forum search with a couple of hits. Looking for more specific advice/experience.
What later model Bose CD heads will replace the Bose non-CD in the '84 Corvette? Anyone done this? I'm aware of the various vendors offering the wire harness adapter.

I'm pretty sure the first year with a CD player offered was 1990 or later.
1990 and later Corvettes use double din units. 84-89 are din and a half, so... they won't fit in your car.
Most of us just ditched the bose entirely, and never had a moment of regret!

Supposedly a later model Camaro Bose CD will fit. Was trying to confirm what years, etc.
I'm not a fan of the Bose at all...either in car or home. In this application, the owner (helping out a returning deployed US military dentist) wants something CD that looks factory to replace the dead Bose cassette head.
