Hopefully, they threw in the harness you'll need as well. Besides the cable that runs from the ipod2car to your ipod, you will need the cable that interfaces with the back of the stock HU unless you have the factory 12 CD changer. If you don't then due to the year of your car, you're going to have to remove the center console and pull the radio in order to install the pass-through harness you will need for the ipod adapter.
the nice thing is that the harnesses all have diff types of plugs. so you cant really plug the wrong harness into anything. Check to see if there is a website you can check out. I think ipod2car has some good install instructions. They should be similar if not the same.

Yeah, what DPG said. But let's take a look at this for a minute.
When you have everything you need to get started, it'll look like this:
The picture of the radio is upside down, confusing matters somewhat, but I labeled all the pertinent connectors for easy identification. The main factory harness connector, "A" gets unplugged from your HU and is replaced by the "A" connector shown on the aux harness above.
The original factory harness connector that you just removed in order to do the above now plugs into the "B" connector in the aux harness, completing the circuit. Congratulations. You're done. The "C" connector on the aux harness is not used, so just let it hang and disregard it. Leave the factory harness that's plugged into the "D" socket alone.
