I know nothing about doing this and need help.. The local shop wants $100.00 to do this!! I bought the almost top of the line unit from another Forum member.. 1. Can I hook up to the CD harness in the trunk? 2. How hard and how do you hook-up behing the Radio.. All the wires are marked .. I am really weak in the Audio Area but can mount the unit and route the wire with no problem at all. Thanks in advance to anyone that can help me save a lot.....

2000 with Bose system ... Thanks for the reply......
hmm..not sure if you can hook that up to a stock bose system. at the very least you'd need an adapter/interface and i'm not sure if they even make them for the pioneer decks. maybe pentavolvo can chime in.
as far as getting ot the back of the radio, it's pretty simple. for instructions on how to get to the radio go on vette essentials' website and they have a console removal 'how-to'
edit...just plain losing my mind

Even though the Corvette factory's CD changer is a Pioneer, all aftermarket Pioneer CD changers will not work with the Bose HU. If there is an adaptor, I don't know about it. If you plan on using an FM-modulator then she'll work but I' against this approach since you will only get 50-15000 Hz and it will weaken you radio reception.
