87 Bose Amp Relay

87 Bose Amp Relay
It appears that the Bose amp relay has pretty much gone south in my 87. Loud pops and noises when I turn the ignition on with the radio on or when I turn the radio on or off. Also getting a loss of volume on occasion (all speakers at the same time).
Is the Bose amp relay a specific relay to the system? I thought I had read somewhere that the same relay was used for other purposes in other cars.
Anyone have GM part numbers??

For my 87, the FSM shows the relay to be just to the right of the radio at the back side. Looks like the radio needs to come out to access it.
The FSM (electrical diagnosis book) shows wiring diagrams of the relays and most of them appear to have different internal circuits and # of wires.

Hmmmm... just found a Bose relay part number: 14078902
GMPartsdirect has it for $6.83 (list of $13.12) and $9.98 for shipping.
And of course after getting the radio out of the car, the ^%*^&@ relay is not where the FSM said it would be.
