Ops! The link is fixed now. The dome mid where the factory tweeter went. The tweeter went into the A-Pillar.

I bet with that setup, you don't even need a conventional sub!

Maybe stupid question but how do you keep the door/side mirror from vibrating to pieces when you put heavy duty subs in doors?

The system sounds really good. The sound stage is up front and at eye level thanks to the A-Pillar tweeters. Bass response is awesome; it hits you in from the front instead of the rear. People say you can't localize bass but that is only half true. Because bass is felt more than heard, you know what parts of your body it hits first. Having bass hit your chest first instead of your back help to improve staging and imaging.
The stock factory system comes with a 10" Bose subwoofer in the doors so they are pretty deadened as it is. However, adding a little more never hurts.

on your amp rack, do you remove the cover when you are driving, seems like the amp would get really hot under there?

The cover stays on. There has been no overheating problems.
Also, the sytem is not mine. I'm just friends with the install shop owner.
