Help Installing my new AVIC D2
I just received my AVIC D2 and am going to try and install this thing. Any pics, tips, links or info would be great. How did everyone modify the metal cage behind the console surround is my major concern.

check out the c5 faq and see if you have any questions afterwards. i know its a lot of reading, but it gives you a great idea of what you can do and if you have any more specific questions, feel free to ask away. this is why we are here

no problem, wish i could help you more but im not too familiar with this HU. Ive followed a few and the only thing ive heard about the brackets is maybe cutting them a bit for more room. nothing of repositioning them. good luck, again i wish i would have been a better help. hopefully someone else will see this. maybe scott_fx. he put in a touch screen. they maybe similar in size.
