Revolution Systems Innovado Mobillo Car PC
The Mobillo PC feeds the audio signal via an optical output (no audio loss to interference) to the Alpine Multimedia Manager. The Alpine unit distributes the signal to 3 seperate JL Audio amplifiers.
The amplifiers power a 5-way (10 speaker) audio system consisting of:
- Three sperate drivers PER door (1" tweeter, 4" midrange, 6.5" midbass)
- Two 8" 8w3v2 subwoofer
- Two 12" 12w6v2 subwoofers
Also, we went through a few hundred pound of B-Quiet Ultimate in the process of putting this system together.
To view them, go to http://community.webshots.com/user/jleacu . Any response/criticism/your $.02 is definately appreciated and welcome.
The monitor in the front console is a K301 touchscreen VGA USB monitor; it has 2 composite (RCA) inputs, and (1) rear view camera composite. It is motorized, and so far has been working great. We have been VERY pleased with the visual quality of this unit.
The Mobillo Car PC has really been a very versatile tool inside the vehicle. It's shown to be a great entertainment machine, not to mention the internet access on the go.

pretty cool... yet another vette with a pc, we're going to be taking over pretty soon!
you should get a better front end though. winamp is going to be pretty tough to control while driving. check out road runner (RR) if you want to keep your system based off of the winamp player or try out the new centrafuse if you want a really clean and easy to use piece of software. It seems like you are an audiophile so RR may be the way to go for you, there are a lot of advantages including being able to use vst plug-ins.
how do you like it now that it's been in the car a while??
oh and go over to www.mp3car.com and post up your project!
I have to give the company props to incorporating the tiny Bluetooth keyboard and a firefly remote control. Honestly, the remote control is a great safety measure for any vehicle PC. No matter how you look at the situation, you're much better off memorizing the buttons/keys on a remote control rather than taking your eyes off of the road.
