is it making any noise as it turns on? if so, it could be a bad mast or a bad clutch.

Step #1 is listening for sound. If you turn that radio on, do you hear speaker noise? If you put a CD in, does it play music? If there is no sound then a connection is loose somewhere around or connecting to the relay.

If the sound goes on and off (along with the antenna) you are most likely looking at a loose connection.

95's have the tuner and relay in the bin behind the passengers seat. What you should do is take an alligator clip (or something reliable to serve the same function) and bridge the 12v (double orange) to antenna speaker power (double green) wires on the underside of that relay.

please be careful when doing this since you are dealing with that 12v constant- dont shock yourself.

The car doesnt need to be on or anything special, just do that simple test. If the antenna and all connections after that point are all working properly, you SHOULD (without question) hear the speaker buzz and the antenna should rise.

IF the antenna goes up and you hear noise, its now time to work backwards and confirm the connections. (start by making sure the relay itself looks solid). When you kick on your radio there is a signal sent through a green wire that attaches to your tuner via a harness with the 12v constant, ACC, and ground- easy to identify it, green, yellow, orange, black I believe. Check that green wire carefully to make sure its seated in the harness well, and the harness is making solid connection.

After that, things get complicated.

Thank BOSE.

edit: silly me I forgot one of the most important parts. Also check for the pink wire in the bundle of 8 that attaches to your tuner. That is the radio-side individual signal wire. Green on the other end is the continuation of the pink wire on the other side of the tuner, so they are equally important.

related to that, if you cant find anything after all of the above, it most likely would be time to check the pink wire in the radio harness. That would pretty much be the last possible offender. And if not that, then you are dealing with internal circuitry. I can help there, but it would be an extended process. Let me know what happens.

Ive given this explanation so many times I think I should get my own sticky on the subject. "Corvette Audio Education: Relays and You"
