C5 - Bad speaker relay?
Question for all you audio experts:
While back, I started to hear static out of the right rear speaker in my coupe. Initially thinking it was the speaker, I replaced it. Didn't work. Some searching led me to believe it was a bad amplifier. Sent it in for repair (corvetteradios). Got it back in...still doesn't work.
I have no bass response, and fuzzy highs out of the right rear. Could it be a bad speaker relay? If so, where is the relay located?

i don't think that the c5 bose has speaker relays and all that the relay would control is the amp turning on or off. penta is right though and the rears are powered off the deck. so you may need to have the deck repaired. if you are in socal i can let you borrow my deck to test it out.
