Hello......

I have a stock ac delco bose radio in my 84 corvette, as you turn it on and off, the speakers will make a "popping" noise, but no music..... it changes channels just fine and from AM to FM and the clock works and I just replaced the power antenna because the old one didnt work, thinking that could be part of the problem, but its not...... before I junk the radio, I want to try the relay, but I dont know where its located.

I have a new relay and about half my dash took out looking for the old relay, I hated to just guess on its location and take more of my car apart when I dont need to........ its not behind the radio and its not behind the information panel thats above the radio......

anyone know where the relay is located ????????

also........ one other problem I have and I know this isnt the correct place to post it but thought I'd ask here too......

my car wont start with the switch....... I've had to add a push button switch like in a race car...... turn the key in the "on" position and use the push button to start...... every great now and then it will try to start with the switch but it sounds like the starter is wore out and dragging something terrible, but with the push button, it really spins the motor super fast so nothing is wrong with the starter or battery.

any ideas on this problem ????????
