So I understand that Subwoofer frequencies are more omni-directional Correct?
so with components they are more focused with their direction (especially tweeters)
So many question is at what frequency (approximately) does the direction of the driver really get critical?
Reason I ask is I have 2 midbass that will be 100-300hz but I may not be able to directionally fire them towards the upper part of the car.
Higher the frequency the more directional. While it may not be ideal it's fairly typical in a car installation that the midbasses won't fire at the listening position. Worry about getting your tweets aligned.

some speakers are better at off axis 'distribution' then others. something to research
Thanks for the info. my first plan is to see if the speakers will even fit where I want them to. I just have not had time (or motivation at the moment) to pull the door panels off. I am sort of waiting until Winter
thats what i thought too was i'll wait till winter, but without a heated garage it sucks. i got one of those propane turbo heaters and that helps but the ground is still cold

I am the same way but it took over 4 months to get my clutch working correctly.. I started messing with it in March, finally fixed it in July.
I want to enjoy it a little bit.
Basically I want to move the speaker out of the frame rail.
Not sure fo exact placement of tweeters yet, but in the doors I would like to stuff my 4" and 5.25" or 4" and 6.5".
I know they will fit in the Passenger side and have decent area for sound into the cabin.. it is the driverside that is the biggest concern.
I also need to install my Electronic Crossover and ditch the F-MODs for my 2 amps
Components need to be aimed at the ears as best you can for BOTH passengers. That usually means ear height for average people and focal paths crossing at dead center of the console and about 5 inches forward of the driver and passengers shoulders. The tweets are easy because you usually can aim them on a pivot. The mids....do the best you can. The sub?....wherever it fits.
