I was curious if some of the gurus could help me out. I was looking at the: 110v.2(sub), eDi6500s(components), powered by 2 ea. NINe.2. With the use of the PAC OEM 24. This package is fairly inexpensive. Would it sound good in a 2005 1sb w/o nav. Is it better with the rears or w/o?
Not at all you have a killer setup going for you, my only sugestion would be to get the 12" over the 10 if you can fit it or if it works with what you want to do. Maybe a nine2x for the sub especially if you jump up to a 12. Regardless you will have a killer setup
Buddy, I went with a similar system in my car a 130V.2 Sub with a Nine.1 amp to power it and the 6500's with the Nine .2 to power them. I decided to go with a Alpine HU. I decided to leave the back speakers empty. I could not be happier with my system the thing rocks and it does so without breaking the bank. You can also get ED to make you a custom box for your sub. Good luck with your project and let us know how you make out.
I think you are going to be happy with your ED choices. I have CDT components in the front doors of my truck and ED 6500s in the back doors. I wish I could give you a direct comparison, but I never spend time in the back seat. I'll have to have a buddy drive and I ride in the back for a long trip to do a comparison.
You'll be happy with the ED components and sub. I am using two of the 11Kv.2's in the truck. If you need a box for the sub, PM NCR Dave and see what he can hook you up with. There are many good reviews of his boxes for our cars.
Also, if you still need that PAC AOEM-Vet1 adapter, PM me. I have one for sale but haven't posted it up in a thread yet.
When the install is all done, post your review. We all like to read what people think of their new systems.
