Big3 upgrade question.

Big3 upgrade question.
I'm doing the big3 wire upgrade on my "91" Vette, and have read different ways of doing this.
Another member suggested the following:
1: 4 awg power wire from alternator to battery Pos
2: 4 awg ground wire from battery negative to alternator mounting bolt
3: 4 awg ground wire from battery negative to any part of the chassis
Shouldn't #2 read 4 awg wire from engine block to chassis ground?
I'm going to connect the 4 awg wires like this, is this correct?
1: 4 awg power wire from alternator to battery.
2. 4 awg wire from engine block to chassis ground.
3. 4 awg ground wire from battery negative to chassis.
