Speaker positioning in my 85
I'm getting a jl 10w7 installed this week--not the 8w7 like I planned, I just picked me up another component set, In my front I have Dynaudio 6.5's in each door and a 3" high mid in dash board. I just picked up a set of JL components to run also 5.25" and 1" tweets, was thinking of using them in the rear and making a fiberglass plate to house them under stock speaker grill--but just got another idea, I have newer c4 door sills and they have "what looks to be speaker grill covers on each one at the base (feet) area. Should I run these jls at the door sills up front too ? or will it not sound as well if I run them in the rear area ?

I think you misunderstood my post, I have 2 different component sets, dynaudio---which are already up front and then I have jl's---but those are now installed in the rear speaker areas...
