Sorry to resurrect a post more than a decade old but it least that shows I used the search! Anyway, has anyone found a solution that has worked for this or did I just miss it? Last year, I installed a Kenwood in my 2007 Z06 and the FM reception was awful. I bought a add on powered FM antenna which absolutely did zero to improve FM reception. Just decided to listen to the valves tick instead.

This year the heads got done and I picked up this power regulator/supply:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CE75K0W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CE75K0W/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I ran the blue wire from my head unit to the red 12V wire of the above regulator. I used the factory wiring diagram to locate my antenna enable wire (white) and applied 12V from the regulator to it.

I grounded both negative wires off of the regulator together to a confirmed chassis ground.

I then ran the 5V yellow wire from the regulator to the FM composite connection of the antenna.

Seemed simple enough. Put the car back together and there is no improvement in FM reception. Has anyone validated the voltages that need to be applied to the enable and composite wires and get this to work?
