Default why did ncr daves 2 posts get moved

I would love to know why NCR Daves last 2 posts got moved, we really need a mod that knows what is goin on in here. I realize he is running his own business but at the same time his install writeup was extremely helpful and i was under the impression he was a suporting member

Probably because he was a supporting member, but not a supporting vendor! Some of my posts were removed a while back because of this same issue. For the amount of car audio stuff I sold, I just couldn't justify the monthly dues that you had to pay to become a supporting vendor. I don't know if this was the cause or not, but I just know the same thing had happened to me and supposedly that was the reason. Anyways Dave had some good writeups and was very helpful.

My appologizes you are correct I didnt really realize there was a difference here. I still think his install writeup should have been left or edited for content

I agree guys, but we will see what happens. Hopefully, they will understand that as I have been in contact with the mods, and we will see what they do...

I was really hoping the write-up would help Steve Germany out in the C6FAQ as well in the rebuilding process... bummer though...

Thanks for the support anyhow!!

It is ashame they got removed and I'm not questioning why they were deleted, but they are very helpful. Fortunately, I printed them to a pdf file and have save them for future reference since I want to install an eclipse HU. Hopefully they get reposted by the mods and I hope that this doesn't stop others to share their knowledge with others like me that need lots of help.

yes, it is a shame... all I was really trying to do was help our fellow Corvette brothers out, and rebuild the C6 FAQ. I do hope that they repost the write-up... if not, those who know how to get ahold of me (which some of you already have), I can get it for you hopefully... actually, they moved any thread that I started... even about corvette racing... sorry guys, any and all pics are no longer on the forums... I have them though...

That is all I am permitted to say here on the forums.

Supporting Vendors pay a goodly amount every month to advertise here. Many ordinary members, however, do a side business on the Corvette Forum without incurring any fees - by adding weblinks to their business, etc.

A Supporting Member (as I am) has no additional privileges to advertise, sell or tout their business.

Some members are blatant and some are subtle. The subtle ones do not incur the wrath of the Moderators and Administrators - the blatant ones do.

Regarding Moderation and the Corvette Forum; remember this : The Corvette Forum is a privately owned website. The owner makes the rules and the Moderators enforce it.

If anyone wants carte blanc to advertise their goods for a fee - whether it be paid services or objects for profit, they should become a Supporting Vendor.

I had the pleasure to speak with NCR DAVE. He is a straight shooter! He always puts up with my dumb questions as many others do . I purchased a few products from him a while back, for way less than most. All I can say are great things about him, I know for a fact that he lives for this stuff (so what if he makes a buck we do own corvettes). He has helped so many forum members. IMHO thats what it's all about. Thanks Dave. .

Thanks for the nice comments!! I am greatly humbled!!

I have gone back and looked through my posts, and when doing so, I saw that I did do a little bit of advertising of my products, though I did not mean to intentionally circumvent the CF rules for Supporting Vendors by doing so. If there were any vendors I offended, I apologize.
I have removed the links to any sites in my signature, and I have been asked to change my forum name so that it does not advertise my own National Corvette Registry. So, in accordance with their policies and requests, so as not to be banned (that would hurt the brothers here that I try to help), I am open to any and all suggestions you may have for a new forum name. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

I will continue to help you guys out with any questions you may have, no matter how stupid you may think they are... , and of course, as many of you already know, you can always contact me directly at work, via email, or at home with any Corvette related audio questions you have that you need an answer to!! I am always here to help... ultimately, that is what it is all about!!

LOL!! Wonder if that exceeds the "letter limit" for a forum name?

Supporting Vendor is circa $300 a month. You can advertise as much as you want then - in ALL sections of the Forum, not just in Audio. Food for thought...

Good Luck
