I hope someone can help me. I did my research first and couldn't find anything. I have a 2005 c6 with nav and no xm. I checked with the company that makes the nucleus and they said that it would work.
I hooked it up and tried to connect the 4 wires. I wasn't sure what to connect them to (the wiring diagram is gone from the c6 faq), so I pulled out my volt meter. I connected the yellow wire to the red tracer in a1 for 12v. I connected the black wire to the black wrie for ground. Both were on the 24 pin connecter. I connected one of the accessory wires to the green tracer on the 12 pin connecter (only wire I cound find that the voltage went up when I turned the accessories on). The other accessory wire (red tracer) I left unconnected.
The green light from the nucleus went on, but the soft buttons didn't change. I can't pull up the ipod on the nav screen & when I connect the ipod it doesn't start to charge.
Anything you guys could do to help would be great. THANKS!
I remember reading a post from somebody else here that said if you don't have XM from the factory then you're missing the harness that it takes to do this install. Do a search on Nucleus and you should turn up the info.

I already did a search and didn't turn up anything. I heard the same thing but they have a connection to use when you don't have xm. The company that makes nucleus said it would work on a 05.
I have a nucleus and took it out within a couple of days. It locked up the IPOD constantly so it wasn't worth much. I will wait till GM comes out with their interface.
