Works well enough to keep me patient so I can do a correct and personalized audio system install. My 98 vert came with cassette and the cd changer is toast, got tired of the local radio stations. Use the 30 gig ipod EQ and it sounds ok. Turning off the dolby makes the treble better. Just an FYI.
Its way better than the fm modulator. I took back my fm modulator for the cassette adapter. I found that if you turn the Ipod about 3/4 volume you can actually get the sound that I think bose was looking for. The twiddlers actually sound pretty good, they're not overpowered by the subs. My changer worked but I took it out anyway. I'd rather keep 7500 songs with me instead of 12 cd's. Everybody with the fm modulator should get the tape adapter and see how good the stock system can actually sound.

thats how i did it in my g35 that had a cassete player in it. i was baffled as to why it had a cassette player in it, but im glad it did after i tired the fm thing. The g35 had bose in it as well.
Is it just me or did you guys notice the increase in voltage input(ipod volume) really made that bose system sing. I think if someone were to add an op amp to the input of the bose signal processor it would come to life.
i wonder if the stock speakers would handle the power increase though???
Did the mock up for my sub enclosure last night, cant wait to get it all installed. I hate being patient!!

ive noticed this as well as turning on one of the equalizers that the ipod has built in. i used rock as for the most part. It made it sound pretty good. that doesnt sound like a bad idea adown. Wonder if its possible
DPG, it should be possible with the wires out to the BSP, but since I'm changing out my whole system I dont have any reason to mess with it. It would take some thought and researce as how to op amp a psuedo differential line. To papafrancisco, yes I believe the cassette mecanism would continuosly run. Never thought about it, but doesn't matter anyway. I think I will do some checking into this. Maybe it would help people that dont want to change out their deck, or the system for that matter
i hear ya. ive already changed my system out so there's no turning back now.
It would be great info for others and would be great if they could at least be pointed in the right direction to get started. I wish I could help ya out, but I dont know anything about that. Other than Bose likes to fall flat on its face when you ask it to do anything
