For those who might be interested I talked to Dave Hale today to get an update on the amp rack/sub enclosure for the rear hatch area of the C6 that he is working feverishly to complete.AudioDave is shooting for the end of this week.As many know he hoped to have it done by last weekend but was not happy with some of the small details,so is continuing to take it apart and adjust. He asssured me that perfection is his goal and that we will be happy with the end product. His design will also retain the use of both rear hatch lights and will allow two subs or one sub and the use of the other cubby for storage still.

he sounds like me! i'd be happy you went with someone that isn't concerned with deadlines when it puts the quality of work at risk. my autobody guy (back east) is like that and i'm always shocked at the quality of his work.
My sub box and amp rack should arrive in about another week or so.I decided to have the sub box made for the driver side cubby after all,and decided to move the amp rack forward between the wheelwells but behind the Exotic Vette partition and under the soft tonneau that came with my C6 to keep it out of sight. That allowed for more width (so I can put in more stuff!).I ordered two tops-a carpeted one and a plexiglas one for display.Dave said he has developed a molding process that will allow him to produce the sub boxes faster and very consistently.I'll post pictures when they arrive.I'm so excited my tail is waggin'!
