I think I heard about this but I haven't used it yet. If I understand correctly, its like getting satelite radio for your car. Digital quality but you have to pay a monthly access fee to use it.

alpine i think is kicking it off in nov/dec, my store got a fax about it, its $10 a month...even though u have a xm ready radio doesnt mean you can get xm, you still will need an xm antenna and a xm signel proccesor, prolly run about $400 for that equipment alone, plus your radio cost

Hey Dave, the programming is 10.95 a month, and the alpine receiver box is 280 and the antennaes range from 45-90 depending on which one you get.
Those in San Diego and DFW can already get the gear.
