I'm interested in upgrading my C5's audio system but Im not sure on how hard it would be to add a subwoofer, amplifier and new speakers. So any advice from those who have added these things would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, Ill most likely add a 12 sub into a stealth box from corvettecaraudio.com, 6.5 inch MTX speakers all around, but I havent decided on which kind or what kind of amplifier.

Here is a link to an install writeup I did in a c5 they are easy cars to work on dont be scared cause its a vette... i have done a number of them so feel free to ask questions and everyone will help out
the corvette is the easiest of the car that i've installed stuff in. It all depends on what you're doing though, but your goals seem within reason.
I would strongly suggest dropping the 6.5" coaxial mtx's all around and just use a nice solid pair of 6.5" components up front, a single four chan amp (that is bridgable) that powers the fronts and sub. try getting at least 75 wrms per chan and around 300 wrms to the sub and you should be pretty happy.
