Default Want in-dash CD

I have the factory HU with cassette and the factory CD changer in the trunk. I don't like to pop the hatch everytime I want to listen to a CD. However, I really do enjoy my CD changer. Am I able to buy a used factory in dash CD HU that will control my changer too? I'm sure this has been asked before but I'll be darned if I can find it. TIA

should be no problem. However, make sure the connectors on the CD HU are the same as the cassette player.

I am talking about a C5 (sorry, shoulda mentioned that).

Does anyone know for sure? I'd like to confirm that the connection is the same before I buy a used CD player.

You are going to have to look at the actual unit. Unless someone knows more specifics. I tried to swap out CD players because mine had burned out bulbs and it turned out they had different connectors in the back (this was with '00 vette). I do not know what year that 2nd cp player came from.

You can do this. I did it years ago. Good luck.
