Default replacement speakers

okay guys in the next week i will be ordering some new speakers.. im looking for opinioins.. i was told before that i should eliminate the rear speakers in my coupe.. someone who does audio stuff and a friend recommended that i put some 6x9's in the back in boxes...

i will be running speakers off of an amp.. just need some opinions on good speakers at a fair price..

was looking for at least component in the front.. im not looking for subs dont really have need or use for them and dont like my ears vibrating..

i was looking to spend less than 400$ for an amp and 4 speakers.. im looking for the best bang for my buck.. im looking for sound qualitity.. throughout volume level. thanks and give me some ideas guys!

i'd drop those speakers and spend the money on a quality set of front components and forget about rears for the time being at least. it will sound good but you're not going to have much bass. check out the deals on the ED amps. a nine.2 will round out that system nicely. the components that you were looking at probably wont sound all that great nor last all that long.

will a set of component give me all around decent sound? or will i have to get something else as well?
