Default C6 Aftermarket Nav

Looking for feedback from people that have installed and used an aftermarket NAV in their Vettes. From the research I've done it looks like the Eclipse AVN6600 and Pioneer AVIC-Z1 are the most poplular. I'm looking for DVD playback and i-Pod interface as well as a good nav interface.

Id look at the Z1 -

For the $$

It is by far the most for the $$

Bluetooth Kit Avail // iPod // XM // Sirius // and much more ..

If youve got multiple cars ...

Look at the Alpine W200 and the Blackbird w/the Dock -

Allows you to have NAV in mutli cars .

Good Luck
Happy to help

The only option the Z1 has the 6600 does so far as I could tell is the bluetooth kit. Which is a really nice feature, but not worth the additional $500 imo. The sales guy also said the Z1 has a gyro mechanizism in the unit so the by-pass for the parking break isn't near as easy...

The Bypass -- is easy .. Simple wire in interface .. Allows full function of the unit ..

The Eclipse is a nice unit ... Ive heard people say its a better sounding unit ...

But the NAV isnt the Best out there ... just what Ive heard ...

Have the Z1 in mine, the main reason I went with it is the 10gb of download space that I put my CD collection onto. So far I am pleased with the unit. When playing MP3 discs it loads them a hell of alot faster than the OEM Nav unit .
