problem grounding the amplifier??
I decided to ground my amp to the frame just above the mufflers, but that didn't work, I don't know. When I ran the ground to the battery it was fine. So, it's the ground's connection. In the c5 audio faq's it says to ground the amp to the screw/bolt that holds the rear middle compartment to the fame or to the seat bolt (don't want to do). Where is this screw/bolt that holds rear the middle compartment to the frame????

i know in mine its where the baby seaat thing is i believe. In the FRCs its behind the passenger seat and its a small hook that sticks outta the carpet. Im sure that is anchored to the frame

Your ground to the frame is the best location. Did you ground it near the factory ground in the wheel well? Did you scrape the paint off? I would also check your factory grounds on the battery to make sure they are solid and clean.
