Went back to shop and told owner what I had found. He said come with me. We walked back into install area and he asked installer what he put in my vette Monday. Installer answer without hesitation coax jls, coax premiers, jl steath box 1 amp because the other one was bad and ran the fronts and rears off the hu. Owner asked why he put those items in and he said thats what the parts guy put on the rack.

So I feel it was just a mix up. I decided to leave jl coax in doors. He said if at any point I wasnt satisified he would switch to components. He said he had an extra set of jl tweeters from a component set he replaced under warranty he would like to intall in the a pilars and the replacement amp was in.

Power is indeed your friend.

We amped the 4 speakers with the jl 300/4. He installed the tweeters in the a pilar and ran those off the hu. I couldnt be happier, it rocks. On the way home I went from Eagles to Dr Dre to Uncle Cracker to Hank it all sounded great.

We settled up for the difference in the speaker cost and the amp and he knocked off $200.00 for my troubles. My 18 year old comes home from college for turkey day tonight I cant wait to show her. If she thinks that stereo in her pathfinder is cool wait till she hears this.

Thanks to all that have helped through this entire process. If anyone is on the fence about ditching the Bose go ahead you wont be sorry.
