First Time Owner Introduction with Radio Problem
I have been surfing the forum for a number of months and want to thank Corvette Forum for having such a great site and all you informative members. I just purchased my first Corvette (a 2007 C6 Coupe, MXO,
3LT, F55, CC3, Black/Ebony) 1 month ago. Thanks to Richard Ott and GMID!!! I also want to thank FB3 for his help in convincing me that I would not be making a mistake in buying this car.
I live in Miami and I got my best deal in North Florida where I picked up the car and drove the 500 miles under 55 mph for 9 hours home and can not tell you how much I enjoyed every minute of it.
The only problem I am experiencing is the radio sometimes will pop and go off for 1-2 seconds and then come right back on. This has happened maybe 4 times, always after I have been driving the car for awhile (over 15-30 minutes), so the engine is hot, and twice almost immediately after stoping for gas (I'm hope that is unrelated). I am always driving the car and in metro areas. I did a search and saw other radio issues but nothing on this problem. Has anyone had this experience? Any suggestions on whether to address this or not would be appreciated.
