Hey Audio Experts-a Couple Problems-please Help
im installing a pac-aoem plus an xm reciever my questions are: #1- on the pac the location of the green wire that is to be spliced into the big black plug. on the faq's they say to splice the dark green wire in the 8th position. heres what im seeing looking from the top of the radio at the big black plug from left to right: org/empty/dk grn/empty/pk/blk-wt/lt grn/dk grn/tan/gray(#8 space dk grn) from rt to lt it comes up to #8 space on the other dk grn. which one is it? #2- im using a GM10-AUX for the XM. im told to hook the gm10 into the cd changer plug, i was told that the plug for this was on the right side floor board in the fuse box area but i only found a small plug to a thin wire going up under the dash and it does'nt fit the gm10. my car is a 97. can you guys help? thanks

it should be the one with empty spaces on each side... also if you look closely at the connector there should be a number 1 near pin 1 and you can count from there.
As far as the connector in the footwell maybe dig around more and see what you cant find otherwise there should be some way to plug in behind the radio

thanks pentavolvo, i will search under the floorboard some more. my inst. from the former owner of the terk xm said to hook into the cd changer plug in the trunk area. my 97 coupe does'nt have that harness and there is not any extra plug in's on the back of the sterio.. thanks for the reply. anthony
