Default Got a couple things accomplished today

I checked my enclosures in the back of my C4. They seem to be sealed, although one might have a slight leak, not sure yet. I have not connected an amp to try again either.. been a bit chilly today.

What I did do was connected some Infinity 5.25, Infinity Tweeters and y EQ6s to my CDT 3-way crossovers. I then used my a/d/s PS5 amp to listen to them on my makeshift test bench.. it sound really good. Then I fixed the one channel of the Amps as it would sound fine then distort then be fine again.. turned out to be a couple bad solders..

That a/d/s is VERY Clean. I almost want a second one to run both of them mono on my front stage. I just missed 2 on ebay too..

Although there is a a/d/s pq10 there now, maybe I will try for that.. I liek the PS5's compact size though 5x8x2 with 40w x 2

Ya for a ps5. Really really hoping that I can get it mounted where I want to. It is going to be very snug I think. Going to do some research this morning on specs/size and see if I can get it done. I woke up this morning to calculations and crossover points/slopes and the ability to go active running through my head

G'luck on the amp search bro

you need the specs for it?

4 ohm 2x40
4 ohm 1x90
2 ohm 2x44

Dimensions:
200mm/ 7-7/8" WIDTH
45mm/ 1-3/4" HEIGHT
130mm/ 5-1/8" DEPTH

Weight 2kG/ 4.4 lbs

I have more info if you need it, I have a Brochure from 1988 on these amps. I use to have a PH12 but sold it as 22x6 was too low and it could not be bridged.

If the PS5 will not work for you, let me know, I would be interested. I am also watchign a few a/d/s flavors on ebay. I missed a PQ10 due to buy it now

Nice Jeff thanks for the specs ... the height was the main thing I was concerned with that might just get it done, and being that I am losing the passives I have been running I might just be able to make this happen.

Any idea on the crossover?

What crossover???

The PS5 I have info on and the PS5 I have has no crossover..

I also use to have a 642CSi which did not seem right for what ever reason.. but I have specs for the 642CSi and AX2 if you need them. I also have the Chip mod sheet for them

Hehe I asked the question hoping that I was wrong, didn't think it had one. I might be interested in those specs on that 642, I see one cheap on ebay and I am going to need to run something outside of my 8053 and genesis p5 crossovers. I am torn betweeen picking something somewhat basic up and trying it or just biting the bullet and getting a dcx-730.

Thanks again bro. Could shoot me the info via email if it is easy at fej94z@yahoo.com

Leaving in a few but will email them later.

FYI, the 642 NEEDS the Bass controller or the Dummy plug for it to work properly, be sure it is with it.. the BAss Controller is different for: 642CSi and 642IX

Oh yeah if the PS5 does nto work for you.. I will gladly buy it from you
