GM Adapter Plug
If I purchase the GM adapter plug, will it allow me to hook my Eclipse CD5000 HU up without hooking up stock wires? This has a GPS feature. Are there add'l requirements such as tie-in to vehicles speed control (I do not have this module yet, it is on order). The HU manual does not address any peripheral add-ons in any detail...

The harness only provides you stereo wiring, nothing for gps etc. For that unit I dont remember if you need a VSS wire or not if you do its right behind the radio but it will not be in the harness you will need to tap into it. Furthermore the GPS is a waste on that unit IMO its not worth it at all.
